Andrea Gajic is a Lecturer in the Strings Department at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, renowned for her international performing career as a violinist and her dedication to music education. She began her studies at St Mary’s Music School in Edinburgh before pursuing advanced training at institutions including the Peabody Conservatoire, Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, and the Royal College of Music. Her academic roles include teaching at the Yehudi Menuhin School and the Benedetti Foundation, where she collaborates with Nicola Benedetti.
As a performer, Gajic specializes in solo and chamber music, with notable performances of works by Beethoven, Brahms, Prokofiev, and Sibelius.
