Maxwell Briggs

Dr. Maxwell Briggs is a faculty member at VanderCook College of Music, specializing in Applied Tuba and Euphonium. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from Northwestern University and has taught at multiple institutions including North Central College, Lake Forest College, and several high schools. His pedagogy emphasizes tone, technique, and musicality, inspired by Arnold Jacobs. Briggs is an active performer with groups like the Northshore Concert Band and a Meinl Weston Artist.
