Matt Shaw is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture of The Cooper Union, alongside teaching roles at the University of Pennsylvania and SCI-Arc. His work explores architecture's role in political, social, and cultural transformations. He co-founded experimental project space Hot Air in New York City.
Shaw's research focuses on architecture's interdisciplinary intersections, evidenced by his writings in The New York Times, Artforum, and The Architectural Review.
