Matt Burgermaster

Matt Burgermaster is a Part-time Teaching Professor at The New School’s Parsons School of Design, with concurrent faculty affiliation at RPI School of Architecture. His research and practice focus on architecture as a spatial practice intertwined with social and ecological concerns, emphasizing material innovation and resourcefulness through reimagining 'as found' objects and environments. He leads MABU, a design office exploring speculative projects that transform constraints into creative opportunities, earning accolades from ACSA and AIA.
