Martin Prominski

Prof. Dr. Martin Prominski is a W3 Professor of Urban Landscape Development at Leibniz University Hannover, leading the Department of Designing Urban Landscapes within the Institute for Open Space Development. He has served as Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Landscape, demonstrating significant academic leadership. His research focuses on climate-resilient urban design, biodiversity enhancement, and the Anthropocene's impact on landscape architecture. Prominski actively participates in transdisciplinary projects like the Urban Climate Future Lab (UCFL) and the Good Coast Lower Saxony initiative, emphasizing sustainability and ecological integration.
