Dr. Marta F. Suarez is a Senior Lecturer in Latin American and Spanish Studies (Screen Media) at Manchester Metropolitan University, specializing in transmedia storytelling and transnational screens. She holds a PhD in Screen Studies from Liverpool John Moores University (2022) and has extensive teaching experience in film, screen media, and cultural studies. Her research explores themes such as cross-media adaptations, streaming platforms, and the intersections of coloniality, ethnicity, and race in fictional narratives.
