Mark Colyvan is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney and Director of the Sydney Centre for the Foundations of Science. He holds honorary positions at the Australian National University and is a Visiting Professor at Ludwig-Maximilians University's Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy. He earned a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of New England (1993) and a PhD in Philosophy from the Australian National University (1998).
