Marian Frazier is an Associate Professor and Department Chair of Statistical & Data Sciences at the College of Wooster, and Co-Director of the Applied Methods & Research Experience (AMRE). She holds a B.A. from Kenyon College (2002), M.S. (2004), and Ph.D. (2013) from The Ohio State University. Her research focuses on public health, evidence-based medicine, and statistics education. She co-leads the Community Care Network program, evaluating its impact on chronic disease management, and directs AMRE, a summer consulting program pairing students with local clients.
Her academic interests include curricular design and high-impact educational practices. She teaches courses in statistics, calculus, and data visualization. Advising over 17 Independent Studies since 2018, her students have explored topics ranging from healthcare sustainability to pandemic equity analysis.
Her publications span environmental contaminant detection, contraceptive perception studies, and interdisciplinary education models. She emphasizes practical, team-based learning and continuous pedagogical innovation.
