Maria Stamolis

Maria Stamolis is a Full-Time Clinical Professor and Executive-in-Residence at the Cox School of Business, Southern Methodist University (SMU), joining in January 2025. She is affiliated with the Folsom Institute for Real Estate and serves on the Folsom Institute Advisory Board as a Leadership Circle member. Additionally, she co-teaches the SMU Cox RE Impact Fund Practicum and sits on the Investment Committee for SMU's RE Impact Fund.

• Education: MBA in Finance from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business; Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fordham University.

Her research and professional focus centers on real estate finance, risk management, and investment strategies, informed by over 30 years of industry experience spanning debt and equity strategies, asset management, and executive leadership. She has contributed to undergraduate real estate finance education and practical investment frameworks through the RE Impact Fund Practicum.

Ms. Stamolis currently serves on the board and executive committee for Goodwill of Dallas and as an Independent Director for The Minto Group, a Canadian family office. She also participates in Minto’s Compensation and Governance Committees.
