Maria Elena Buszek is a Professor of Art History at the University of Colorado Denver's Department of Visual Arts within the College of Arts and Media. Her work bridges feminist theory, punk subculture, and contemporary art, with a focus on intersections between visual art, music, and craft. She has authored and edited influential texts such as Pin-Up Grrrls and Extra/Ordinary: Craft and Contemporary Art.
