Ginette Chittick is the Programme Leader for the Diploma in Creative Direction for Fashion at LASALLE College of the Arts. She holds an MA in Design from The Open University (UK) and a BA in Multimedia Studies from Central Queensland University (Australia). She is currently pursuing her PhD at the London College of Communication, focusing on subculture studies (punk in Singapore) and graphics.

Her research investigates the intertextuality of visuals, music, and fashion, alongside domestic and feminized craft practices in contemporary art. She combines tapestry weaving, latch-hook techniques, and interior architectural design objects with locally sourced materials.
Key publications and projects include Music column for MTV Alert (online), Web Design Index Volume 3, and collaborative work on Zouk Book and Greendonkey webzine. Her artistic practice-as-research includes The Aesthetics of Care: Mapping Intersections of Art, Design and Craft through the Art of Weaving (2019–2020).
