Adrian Huang

Adrian Huang serves as a Lecturer in Fashion at LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore, a position he has held since 2008. He holds a Master of Arts in Arts Pedagogy and Practice from Goldsmiths, University of London (delivered through LASALLE), a BA in Psychology from Murdoch University, Australia, and a Diploma in Apparel Design & Merchandising from Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore.

Adrian's research interests encompass design research, pattern cutting methodology, and creative entrepreneurship. His design philosophy is built on the concept of "second glances", emphasizing subtle details that engage viewers subconsciously. He has led significant projects including the Modern Dress Sewing Factory in Cambodia (ongoing since 2010), which provides income-generating skills to women with HIV, and the 2011 "Point of Departure" fashion films collaboration that attracted over 300 attendees.

He has also participated in the 2010 "Fantasia" exhibition with the Korean Society of Fashion Business, featuring 50 designers from Korea and Singapore, and other collaborative initiatives with institutions such as De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde and DFS, highlighting his dedication to interdisciplinary partnerships and student development.
