Marc Fein is an Adjunct Instructor in Radio and Sound, TV and News Production at the University of North Texas (UNT), where he teaches courses such as Sports TV/Radio Reporting, Interviewing and Performance for Electronic News, Radio and Television Announcing, and Special Topics: Sports Analytics. A veteran TV and radio news reporter, he has served as a network anchor and sports reporter for CNN, NBC, Turner, NASCAR, and the NBA, and continues as the owned-and-operated anchor for KXAS Dallas-Fort Worth (NBC).
His research and teaching interests center on sports broadcasting, electronic news production, digital reporting, radio and television announcing, sports analytics, and TV newsroom management. Drawing on decades of frontline industry experience, he integrates real-world practices into his instruction and mentors students across all digital and broadcast platforms.
Marc volunteers with ntTV, UNT’s student-run television station, providing guidance on multi-platform content creation and newsroom operations. His ongoing professional engagement ensures that his teaching remains current with industry standards and emerging trends in sports and news media.
