Libby Lewis

Libby Lewis is an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), specializing in Media Studies, Communications, African American Studies, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and American Studies. She earned her Ph.D. in African Diaspora Studies with an Emphasis in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.

Her research focuses on how race, gender, and sexuality intersect in corporate newsroom environments, as detailed in her 2015 book The Myth of Post-Racialism in Television News, published by Routledge Taylor & Francis Group.
