Marc De Vos is a Professor at Ghent University Law School (Belgium) and Curtin University (Australia). He is also the director of the Itinera Institute, a non-partisan policy think-tank in Brussels. His work spans academic research, teaching, and public policy engagement.

Marc’s research focuses on Belgian and European employment/ labour law, fundamental rights, and the legal implications of globalization. He actively explores intersections between technology and employment, inequality, happiness, and the rule of law. His work addresses labor market reforms, pensions, healthcare, ageing populations, and welfare state challenges.
As director of the Itinera Institute, he contributes to policy debates and media discussions on these topics. He teaches courses on Belgian, European, and international employment/ labour law, as well as introductions to the rule of law and EU law at Curtin University.
