Mandy Clarke

Mandy Clarke is Deputy Head of Division (Nursing and Healthcare Education) at the University of Chester's Warrington campus, affiliated with the School of Nursing and Midwifery within the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Society. She has held leadership roles since 2013, including Deputy Head of Department and Deputy Director Pre-registration Nursing.

Her research focuses on numeracy skills in student nurses, decision-making in competence assessment, and transition of nurse academics into higher education. A former Senior Theatre Practitioner in NHS hospitals (1990–2005), she now teaches Adult Nursing and Health and Social Care, specializing in leadership and transprofessional research. She supervises Masters-level students in MPH and MSc Advanced Clinical Practice programs, emphasizing dissertation assessment and research innovation.
