Mana Azarm

Mana Azarm is an Assistant Professor of Analytics and Information Systems at the University of San Francisco (USF), part of the School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation. She holds a PhD in Electronic Business from the University of Ottawa, alongside MS degrees in Systems Science and Information Technology Management. Her research focuses on scalable data architectures, LLMs in data pipeline development, and healthcare data interoperability. Azarm has over a decade of industry experience, including leadership roles at DoorDash and co-founding ModuleUp, a construction tech venture. She has also taught at UC Berkeley and the University of Ottawa, and consulted for organizations like the Bank of Canada and Ontario Health.

Her academic awards include the ICTC WIL Digital Award (2020) and two Excellence Awards from the University of Ottawa (2015, 2017). Her work bridges academia and industry, emphasizing real-world applications of data systems in healthcare and business contexts. She has published extensively on healthcare data sharing frameworks and AI-driven data pipeline solutions.
