Manas Gosavi

Manas Gosavi (he/him/his) is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds a BS in Physics and BS in Finance from UIUC, as well as a PgD in International Affairs from King's College London.

Professionally, he is a deep tech venture capital investor at Mubadala Capital, focusing on critical industrial technologies, sustainability, advanced compute, and AI. His portfolio includes companies like Crusoe, Armada AI, and Waymo. Previously, he worked at Adams Street Partners and Molex, where he contributed to mergers & acquisitions and business unit incubation.

Outside his primary role, Gosavi is an independent investor emphasizing climate and societal health improvements. He co-founded Illini Angels and actively engages in ventures promoting human and environmental well-being.
