Magnus Borg

Magnus Borg is a researcher at Lund University, affiliated with the National Graduate School of History and the Department of History. His work focuses on Medieval History, Baltic Studies, and Monastic Reform, with a particular emphasis on religious and cultural dynamics in medieval Europe.

Key projects include Ubi Est: Medieval readings of ancient Roman artefacts in the urban cultural landscape, spanning 2021–2025. His publications address the Baltic region, Prussia, and Christian ethics during the Middle Ages.

Collaborations include interdisciplinary work within the Humanities and Theology Faculties at Lund University, with a focus on historical narratives and cultural encounters.
