Lydia DeBiase

Lydia DeBiase is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work at Kutztown University, teaching in both the BSW and MSW programs. With a PhD and MSW from Widener University and a BSW from Kutztown University, she brings extensive clinical expertise as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Research and Professional Focus: Her work centers on trauma-informed care, child welfare, and families at risk, with additional interests in case management, clinical supervision, and child maltreatment. She has served as an expert witness in child abuse/neglect cases and play therapy in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and Allegheny County, Virginia.
