Lutz Koppetsch

Prof. Lutz Koppetsch is a Professor of Saxophone and spokesperson for the woodwind section at the University of Music Würzburg. His career spans roles as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator. He leads the saxophone department, teaches masterclasses, and collaborates with ensembles like the Alliage Quartet and Trio Comet. His work emphasizes contemporary saxophone repertoire and cross-genre performances.

• Conservatoire de Paris and Versailles (with Claude Delangle and Vincent David)

Research & Performance: Koppetsch focuses on classical and contemporary saxophone performance, ensemble dynamics, and promoting innovative works. He has toured globally, breaking cultural barriers through music.
