Louis Porter II

Louis Porter II is a Teaching Professor of English at Dougherty Family College, University of St. Thomas. With a background in journalism and organizational communication, his professional interests center on equity, memoir writing as a tool for personal growth, narratives of the African Diaspora, and polarity management through narrative mediation.

He brings extensive experience from prior roles at Mayo Clinic, the University of Minnesota, and other institutions, and operates a consulting practice in communication and education.
