Lottie Hoare is a Senior Teaching Associate at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge, and Lecturer at Middlesex University. Her research examines historical and contemporary educational experiences through lenses of arts education, pedagogy, and media representation.
Research explores diverse topics including BBC's educational programming, documentary representations of deaf education, and arts-based pedagogies in Yorkshire schools. She employs archival research and interdisciplinary methods to analyze educational policy influences.
Hoare holds editorial roles including Book Reviews Editor for the British Journal of Educational Studies and incoming co-editor for History of Education. She coordinates the 'Language and Pedagogies' module for the MEd Transforming Practice programme.
