Eleni Liarou

Dr Eleni Liarou is a Senior Lecturer in Film and Television History at Birkbeck, University of London, within the School of Creative Arts, Culture and Communication. She serves as Programme Director for the BA Film and Media and MA Film and Screen Media programmes, which emphasize the university's radical academic tradition. Her teaching includes modules like 'Working with the Film Camera,' 'Television: from small screen to smart screen,' and 'Documentary.'

Eleni's research explores the intersection of migration history, postcolonialism, and British film/television. She actively engages public audiences through digital resources and workshops.
