Lory Selby

Lory Selby serves as Senior Lecturer and Assessment Director at California Lutheran University's Graduate School of Education since 2014, overseeing state credential program accreditation and teaching Educational Research Design, Methodology, and Thesis courses.

Her educational background includes an Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University.

Research focuses on organizational leadership structures, program evaluation frameworks, and assessment tool effectiveness metrics. With 25 years of K-12 private education experience—including 10 years as CEO of a 500+ student school—she brings extensive accreditation expertise from serving as both team member and lead on K-12 site visits. Her transition to higher education included Pepperdine University's Assessment and Accreditation Director role and teaching program evaluation for Social Entrepreneurship Master's students.

Professional service includes current membership on the CA Commission on Teacher Credentialing's Board of Institutional Reviewers.
