Lisa Rhoades

Lisa Rhoades is a Professor of Instruction and Assistant Chair in the Department of English at the University of Akron. She has been affiliated with the institution since 1993, specializing in teaching Composition, Fiction Appreciation, and Shakespeare courses. In addition to her instructional role, she serves as the undergraduate advisor for English majors, providing academic guidance to students pursuing degrees in the field.

Rhoades actively supports university initiatives through her involvement with the Distance Learning program, enhancing accessibility to education. She also advises the University chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, fostering academic excellence among undergraduate members.
