Lisa Mangini

Lisa Mangini is Associate Teaching Professor of English and English Department Internship Coordinator at The Pennsylvania State University. A poet and prose writer, she focuses on creative writing pedagogy and literary community building.

Author of five poetry and prose collections, her work appears in Ms. Magazine, McSweeney's, and Mid-American Review. She founded Paper Nautilus Press (2011-2023), publishing over 40 chapbooks, and directed Penn State's Red Weather Reading Series (2017-2020). She received the English Department's Teaching Excellence Award in 2020 and coordinates internship programs since 2022.
