Lisa Kinch

Lisa Kinch is an ARB-registered architect and Tutor in the Infrastructure Space atelier at the Manchester School of Architecture (Manchester Metropolitan University). Her professional experience spans masterplanning, commercial/residential design, and specialized work in drama/TV studios.

Education: Masters in Architecture and Urbanism, followed by a further Masters in Architecture, both from MSA. Currently pursuing a PhD researching post-war telephone exchange buildings and their intersections between architecture, technology, and state governance.

Research interests focus on architectural history, infrastructure systems, and the socio-political dimensions of built environments. Collaborates with interdisciplinary groups like the CPU Lab, which explores cities, design, and complexity.
