Lilliam B. Guzman

Lilliam B. Guzman, MD is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and Medical Director of both UHealth International and the Internal Medicine Faculty Practice at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She holds faculty attending appointments across multiple institutions, including University of Miami Hospital, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Education:

• MD from Universidad Central Del Este (1991)
• Residency in Internal Medicine at Cabrini Medical Center (1996)

Research interests focus on global health leadership through UHealth International and community outreach, notably spearheading the Hispanic Health Initiative. She has been a faculty educator for 21 years, emphasizing medical student and resident training in internal medicine through the Next Generation Curriculum.

Awards reflect her excellence in patient care and education, including national recognition such as the Patients Choice Award (top 3% of U.S. physicians) and the New York Regents Award for community service.
