Liesl Lawrence

Liesl Lawrence is an Assistant Professor in the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Cairn University, where she teaches biology. She holds a PhD in Integrated Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center and a BS in Biological Sciences from The Master’s University.

Her research focuses on the dysregulation of RNA processing in Ewing sarcoma, a pediatric bone and soft tissue cancer. Outside academia, she enjoys piano, outdoor activities, and serves in her local church through children’s Sunday school and worship team ministries.
