Lex Williford

Lex Williford is an Associate Professor and founding director of UTEP's online MFA program. His fiction explores psychological landscapes and narrative experimentation, with works appearing in Virginia Quarterly Review and The Southern Review. Williford co-edited the 'Scribner Anthology of Contemporary Short Fiction' and 'Touchstone Anthology of Contemporary Nonfiction'.

His honors include an NEA Fellowship and residencies at Yaddo and MacDowell. Current projects include novels 'Nacogdoches' and 'Aggieland', along with the screenplay 'Hotel Mariposa'. Williford teaches fiction, screenwriting, and prose poetry techniques.
