Lesly R. Krome

Lesly R. Krome, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor and Chair of the Department of Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology at St. Mary’s University. She holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Kansas State University, alongside an M.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology from Kansas State University and the University of Alaska Anchorage, respectively.

Her research focuses on recruitment/selection processes, social media impact, gender/generational differences, leadership dynamics, and organizational crisis management. She runs an I/O Psychology research lab and emphasizes student-led research initiatives. Krome has secured multimillion-dollar research grants and published 7 peer-reviewed articles with 17 conference presentations.
