His research focuses on the intersection of philosophy of science and formal ethics, with particular emphasis on causal concepts in social sciences, metaphysics of causation, and Bayesian epistemology. He is currently developing a causal definition of discrimination, addressing methodological challenges in measuring discrimination and inequality. His work critiques existing causal frameworks and explores ethical implications of causal reasoning in policy contexts.
Key contributions include analyzing causal biases in inequality measurement (Synthese, 2022) and exploring infinite frequency principles in Bayesian inference (Synthese, 2022). His 2023 Nobel Prize reflection highlights methodological innovations in labor economics.
