Lana Kuscer

Lana Kuscer, DMA, is an Assistant Professor of Flute at Sam Houston State University's School of Music. She is also a member of the Richardson Symphony Orchestra and has held positions with prestigious ensembles like Orchester Jakobsplatz München, Classical Concert Chamber Orchestra, and collaborated with London Symphony Orchestra and English National Opera.

Her performance highlights include solo appearances at Carnegie Hall, Boston Symphony Hall, Kennedy Center, Davies Symphony Hall, and Jones Hall, as well as recitals across Europe, the United States, and Asia. She has performed for notable figures including Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal and Pope John Paul II.

Notable performances include Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto at Sarasota Music Festival, and featured roles at Imago Sloveniae Festival, Festival ARTIS, August Music Festival London, Shanghai Conservatory Jazz Music Season, and Opus XXI Festival in France/Germany.
