LaShonda Anthony

LaShonda Anthony serves as Director for Academic Integrity and Initiatives in University Life at George Mason University (GMU), where she focuses on fostering ethical academic environments. Her work bridges spirituality and higher education, emphasizing inclusive practices across diverse student populations. With 18+ years in higher education administration, she has held roles at institutions including Augustana College and SUNY Oswego.

Dr. Anthony earned a BS in Psychology from Grand Valley State University, an MS in Counseling from Western Illinois University, and a PhD in Educational Leadership (Higher Education Administration) from Western Michigan University. Her research explores how institutional environments can better support spiritual well-being and equity in academic settings.
