LaKysha Patnode is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Networking & Cybersecurity Major at Champlain College's Division of Information Technology & Sciences. With a Master’s in Information Security Operations and a Bachelor’s in Computer Networking and Cybersecurity, she specializes in information security, risk management, and governance. Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), her expertise includes threat assessment, regulatory compliance, and aligning cybersecurity strategies with business objectives.
Previously, she spent five years at NuHarbor Security as an Information Assurance Analyst and supervisor, managing teams and advising clients on security programs. At Champlain, she educates the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. Her CRISC certification highlights her commitment to risk management excellence.
