Klaus Bock is a distinguished Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), later transitioning to leadership roles at Carlsberg Laboratory and the European Research Council (ERC). He served as Professor and Head of Chemistry Department at Carlsberg Laboratory (1988–1999), Research Director at Carlsberg Research Center (1992–1999), and Vice President of the ERC since 2015.
