About
Jesus Angulo is a Senior Lecturer in NMR Spectroscopy at the University of East Anglia's School of Chemistry, Pharmacy and Pharmacology, and a member of the Pharmaceutical Materials and Soft Matter research group. He holds a PhD from the University of Seville and has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Lübeck (Germany) and the Instituto de Investigaciones Químicas (Spain). His research focuses on structural glycobiology, leveraging NMR spectroscopy and computational methods to study ligand-receptor interactions, particularly involving carbohydrates and drug delivery systems.
Angulo's academic journey includes a Marie Curie fellowship, a Ramón y Cajal Award, and a Juan de la Cierva Fellowship. His work spans glycans, glycomimetics, and gold glyconanoparticles, with applications in infection processes and drug design.
