Kish Parella

Kish Parella is the Class of 1960 Professor of Ethics and Law at Washington and Lee University School of Law. Since joining the faculty in 2013, she has focused on corporate governance, international law, and business ethics, often bridging these areas with practical, student-centered pedagogy. She serves on the boards of the Corporate Accountability Lab and the Global Business and Human Rights Scholars Association.

• Research Focus: Corporate compliance with international law, stakeholder activism, and contractual frameworks for human rights.
• Teaching: Emphasizes problem-based learning, integrating real-world corporate scenarios into her Contracts and Corporate Compliance courses.

Recent Publications: Span corporate foreign policy during conflicts, stakeholder-driven legal compliance, and contractual reforms for third-party protections. Her work has been featured in top journals like Harvard International Law Journal and Boston College Law Review.
