Dr. Kinda Ibrahim is an Associate Professor in Academic Geriatric Medicine at the University of Southampton, with a pharmacy background. She serves as Deputy Lead for the NIHR Wessex Applied Research Collaboration's Ageing and Dementia Theme and Associate Lead for Academic Career Development, overseeing training for early-career researchers. Her research focuses on Medicines Optimization and Deprescribing, particularly in older adults with frailty or dementia.
Her work includes leading projects like MODIFY (reducing polypharmacy in frail older patients) and STOP-DEM (deprescribing for dementia patients).
