Dr. Eloise Radcliffe is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, affiliated with the School of Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Education within the Faculty of Medicine. She holds a PhD in Medical Sociology from King’s College London and an MSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics. Her research focuses on older adults, long-term conditions, polypharmacy, and deprescribing, employing qualitative methods. She leads the MODIFY study (NIHR Wessex ARC-funded), designing medication interventions for frail older adults, and co-leads the SPiDeR study on social prescribing. Her work spans 20 years, with expertise in vulnerable populations including palliative care patients, dementia sufferers, and homeless individuals with substance misuse issues. She emphasizes Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) in all research phases.
