Kimberly M. Childs is Dean of the College of Sciences and Mathematics at Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA), where she has held administrative and academic roles since 1996. She previously served as Interim Dean (2010-2012), Associate Dean (2008-2010), and Professor (2006-present) in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

Dr. Childs has received numerous honors including the SFA Woman of the Year (2015), Foundation Award for Faculty Achievement in Teaching (2005), and Teaching Excellence Award (2001). She served as Chair of the Texas Section of the Mathematical Association of America and as a Project NExT Fellow.
