Kimberly Brown

Kimberly Brown is an Adjunct Professor in the Educational Leadership Department at Fisher College. She is an educator in the Rochester City School District, where she has held roles including paraprofessional, English language arts teacher, and Assistant Principal. Her work emphasizes inclusive education, social justice, and equity-focused curriculum design.

She owns Kimet Scholarly Services, an educational consulting firm specializing in culturally relevant, anti-racist curriculum development and professional development for schools. Brown teaches English Methods and social justice/diversity courses at Fisher College, focusing on empowering educators to address systemic inequities.

Her career is dedicated to educational equity, community partnership, and student liberation. She actively contributes to social justice initiatives through her sorority, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
