Kim Miller is a Professor in Fine Art + New Studio Practice at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD). She previously taught at Chulalongkorn University (Bangkok), UW-Milwaukee, and the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design across departments including humanities, design, film, graphic design, foundations, fine art, and liberal studies. Her work explores interdisciplinary art practices focused on action, power, and meaning through mediums like video, performance, dance, theater, and film, interrogating radical democratic frameworks.
