Kyle James

Kyle James serves as Assistant Director of the MIAD Lubar Innovation Center and holds the academic rank of Adjunct Professor at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. His creative work spans film, illustration, and digital media, with a focus on animation and visual storytelling.

Notable projects include directing the internationally exhibited short film The Death Drive, which won "Best Short Film" awards at multiple film festivals. He is currently developing the animated feature film RAWSPACE, supported by the Brico Forward Fund grant in 2015 and 2016. His professional work extends to marketing campaigns for Netflix content, video game art, and movie poster illustrations, including a notable triptych for the Milwaukee Bucks.
