Kerryn Arcari

Kerryn Arcari is a Lecturer in Producing at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) and serves as the Year 3 Lead for BA Film Production. With over 40 films produced across the UK and Canada, she specializes in independent feature and short films, bringing extensive expertise in producing, line production, and production management to her academic role.

• Education: BSc in Management from Royal Holloway, University of London; MA in Film Studies from University College London (UCL); PGCert in Creative Education (FHEA).

Kerryn’s career spans freelance work in award-winning films and TV productions in London and Vancouver, starting as a Production Assistant on high-profile series like Supernatural, Human Target, and Life Unexpected. She later spent six years as an in-house Line Producer at ArtsEd, producing showreels and short films while refining her skills in creative and logistical production.

She continues to work as a freelance Producer and consultant, bridging her academic responsibilities at UCA with hands-on industry experience. Her teaching emphasizes creative problem-solving within production constraints, offering students real-world insights into filmmaking.
