Kelly Filreis is a Lecturer Emerita at Stanford University, specializing in 20th-century American art and its intersections with queer and counter-cultural histories. Her research explores the role of the occult and sexuality in postwar Los Angeles art production. She holds an M.A. from the University of California, Riverside and a B.F.A. from Minneapolis College of Art and Design, graduating in 2017 as part of the 2017 cohort.
