Keith Gray

Keith Gray is Associate Head of School (Student Experience) at the School of Economics, Finance and Accounting within Coventry Business School, Faculty of Business and Law at Coventry University. With over twenty-five years of teaching, research and management experience across Coventry, Warwick and Reading universities, he brings significant expertise to his roles.

His research interests focus on:

• Contracting and relational behaviour in the UK NHS
• Pedagogy in Economics Education

Dr. Gray's scholarly work bridges economic theory with practical healthcare management challenges, examining NHS commissioning processes, supplier-purchaser relationships, and non-price competition in secondary care. His pedagogical research investigates threshold concepts in economics education and effective teaching methodologies for postgraduate students.

His publication record demonstrates consistent contributions to healthcare management literature, with recent work exploring trust dynamics in NHS commissioning and relationship marketing within the healthcare quasi-market. Earlier research focused on fundamental aspects of the NHS internal market and healthcare program evaluation.
