Kedia Gayannée

Dr. Gayannée Kedia is a researcher affiliated with the Institute of Psychology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Graz, since 2014. Her academic journey includes roles at the University of Cologne (2012–2014), University of Bangor (2008–2009), and Institut Mutualiste Montsouris Paris (2006–2008).

• Ph.D. in Psychology (2006), funded by the French Ministry, supervised by Denis J. Hilton (University of Toulouse) and Jean-Luc Martinot (INSERM).
• M.Sc. in Cellular Biology and Physiology, specializing in Neuroscience (2000), University of Toulouse.

Her research focuses on Social Neuroscience, investigating neural mechanisms in social interactions, economic behavior, health, and legal contexts. Methods include EEG, fMRI, and behavioral studies.

Selected publications analyze social neuroscience applications to economics, health, and law, with emphasis on beauty comparison and electrophysiological insights into social information processing.

She contributed to the Gehirn und Verhalten (Brain and Behavior) research network and served as Vice-president of the European Association for Social and Affective Neuroscience (ESAN) (2016–2020).
