Kathryn Floyd is Associate Professor of Art History at Auburn University specializing in modern/contemporary art and exhibition history. She holds a PhD from University of Iowa and MA from University of Georgia.
Research examines exhibition histories, focusing on documentation practices, curatorial reconstruction, and institutional histories of major exhibitions. Secondary expertise in Dada/surrealism and African art history. Recent publications analyze reproduction of exhibition catalogs, Dada archives, and photographic documentation practices.
